Dreamz Pt 2: Going back in time a little, this is a track from 2005, which is also when Dreamz Pt 1 was being created, and the two were supposed to be linked, but, that never happened.
This is one of my favourite tracks and one of my least influenced, ie I can't think of any tracks that it's based on or that have helped shape it, it's just 'a tune from my mind'. It also asked a few "What if?"s ie "What if I don't use a 4x4 kick drum?", "What if I use melodic elements to perform rhythmic duties?", "What if I add a Streets Of Rage sample?"
It also contains some of my favourite sounds of that time such as filtered pianos and that phased 'saw' sound.
For 2017 I've hardly changed it, the original mixdown was pretty good, I've just lowered the long pad down in the mix.
