Southsuite: Written in 2008, I can't remember much about this tune. I can remember where I was working as the name was based on a location at work..
I think I was listening to a lot of Global Underground at the time, although I can't hear many influences in this track. It's 10 minutes long, has an enormous intro and combines house with drum and bass, although the result of this is it's a bit too fast for house and a bit too slow for drum and bass.. I remember mentally programming the track and the elements I wanted in my head, and although the elements made it into reality the final version is nothing like how it started off in my head.
This track signaled a move for me into a less crowded mixdown, and allowing the track to just 'be'.
Have tidied up slightly for 2017 but no major changes, just volume adjustments.
Hope you enjoy..
