It Picks Me Up

Picks Me Up: Around 2007 I bumped into a lad who introduced me to Wigan Pier type music. This appealed to my previous love of happy hardcore and I wanted to write something influenced by this style. In 2008 'It Picks Me Up' was born. It's a fast paced, 160bpm, straight up dance track using some vocals I'd been meaning to use for ages, but had never come across the right track for them.

There is a lot going on at any one time and it caused me no end of issues in the mixdown.
For 2017 I reset all the faders to 0, changed the bass synth and re-mixed it. This is the outcome: Hope you enjoy
