At some point I acquired an Akai 950 sampler which leads us to this track. The Akai 950 was pretty awful to be fair. It was enormous & held around 30 seconds of audio sampled at 22kHz. You could extend the time by reducing the sample rate to 11kHz.... But obviously I was very pleased with it and took it upon myself to sample kicks, breaks and vocals and then filter and timestretch them, all in glorious, grainy low Q.

The main sound in this track was called Piansynth I think on the Roland MT32. It changed timbre across the keyboard in such a way that it could be used as bass, synth and piano all in one go. It was one of my favourite instruments of the time.

This is a traditional, fast paced, uplifting happy hardcore track with lots of breaks and a time stretched clap because I didn't know of anyone else who'd done that at the time.

This is the original mixdown, if I had access to the original tracks I may have brought the odd instrument forward in the mix slightly, or use cleaner breaks, but I don't, so, it is as is... Hopefully you will enjoy..
