Sunraze: I feel this is the stronger track of the current uploads. This was written on a Roland MT32 just before 2000 and then mixed down when I got (my first) pc, which is where the vocal sample came from (The MT32 doesn't sample). There was no decent kick on the MT32 so I had to try and make my own, as you can possibly tell. It was written when I was quite strongly into happy hardcore, and trance was just emerging and/or becoming commercial, so I tried to emulate those sounds.
Whilst I don't always follow this pattern I usually try to make the 2nd half of a tune slightly different to the first to keep it 'evolving' and this is evident in this track.
I no longer have access to the midi files or master mix so this is the original mix and I'm unlikely to return to it!
